Overview

Cyber Security R&D is a major initiative under the bureau identified for securing Cyberspace with focus on sprouting of R&D results, demonstration, white papers and establishment Cyber-labs for enhancing indigenous skills and capabilities in the Cybersecurity Industry.

Research and development are carried out in the cluster areas of cyber security through sponsored projects at recognized R&D recognized centers. We support Government in achieving its STI targets and Private sector in achieving their reporting frameworks through working with Academia, Industry experts, National Cyber-labs and pursuing R&D solutions suitable to meet the security challenges faced in various critical information infrastructure clusters
